Bird Walk #6

May 18 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

- Free

This excellent birding site sees a continuous migration through the spring, with new species each week. Group will gather in the parking lot in the picnic area (not in the large paved lot adjacent to Eagle River Campground and cabins). In the shoreside willows and alders, look for early songbirds. On the sand bars and tideflats watch for shorebirds and passing migrants. Xtratufs or other waterproof boots are highly recommended. This is a relatively flat out and back walk, mostly on sand. (High tide 12.2’at 10:46am) Beware of high tide!!!

Location: Eagle Beach State Recreation Area (picnic area, not camping grounds)
